Nick and Sabrina were married at the fabulous Syon Park and we were proud to provide their wedding photography London.
We also made their wedding film! Here’s their gorgeous trailer:

Sabrina and Nick had not one but two heartfelt ceremonies. Sabrina was born in California and wanted to celebrate her Indian heritage with a traditional Hindu ceremony, whilst it was equally important to British born Nick to honour his Anglican faith. As the pair live in the US, they were keen to be married in a distinctively British setting and Syon Park with it’s elegant architecture and classical interiors was the perfect choice. Crucially, the venue was able to accommodate both the Hindu and the Anglican ceremonies in one day and the couple have nothing but praise for the Syon Park events team, who were incredibly helpful in planning their destination wedding.
This wedding photography London was an absolute joy for us to shoot. (more…)
Chundeep and Ritesh had a fantastic, fun-packed day, celebrating their wedding at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa and we were there as their Indian wedding photographer and videographer. The couple were both keen to honour their religious heritage. Chun is Sikh and Ritz Hindu, so they were married in a Sikh ceremony in Dubai and had Hindu and civil ceremonies at The Mere. The civil ceremony was one of the most special moments for them as they had written their own personalised vows with deep emotional resonance for them both.
Chun and Ritz – The Wedding Trailer from Viva La Wedding on Vimeo.
Their vision for the day was strongly influenced by Chundeep’s late mother. Chun grew up steeped in her mother’s Punjabi culture and great love of Bollywood films, so she was clear that she wanted to do her wedding shopping in India. Contending with the notorious Delhi traffic in 48 degree heat was tough, but Chun found her beautiful wedding jewellery in the very same store her mother used to frequent, so it was worth the journey. She also found her perfect wedding outfit in the nick of time, just hours before the flight home. I absolutely adore her hot pink gown with gold embroidery and the bold colour was perfectly complemented by Ritz’s ivory suit with its pink and gold detailing. Their couple shots are just dreamy. They look so in love, which is just gorgeous to see and I love that joy and humour coming through in the pictures. Stunning, guys!
The bridesmaids’ ivory skirts and baby pink blouses were so elegant and they too had plenty of fun posing for the photo shoot, which was great! During the wedding breakfast, the couple played old Bollywood songs from their parents’ generation. The evening party saw a change of outfit and we were able to capture some more stunning shots. Their guests were really up for a party and there was plenty of dancing and good times. This was an awesome wedding brimming with love, fun and feelgood vibes. Congratulations guys, we are truly honoured to be chosen as your Indian wedding photographer and videographer!

Claire and Anthony chose Viva la Wedding as their wedding photographer Manchester because we had filmed and photographed the wedding of Claire’s cousin, Rachel and they loved the results! We were really happy to be working with another member of the family! It was a wedding to remember, with plenty of emotion, humour and dance floor manoeuvres! Claire and Anthony tell us more:

What was it like planning your wedding?
I enjoyed planning our wedding and I really miss it now it has gone! We were very lucky having our talented family and friends helping us with preparations, favours, invitations, flowers and hen and stag parties. It was quite easy and stress free. We planned the wedding in just over a year. We only had one busy week, and that was the week before, which is what all couples experience I expect.
What was the most memorable/special part of the day for you?
Claire – The speeches and the first dance. Anthony, my dad, and Lee were fantastic speakers. The speeches were thoughtful, loving and funny. I really enjoyed listening to them on the day, and watching them back on the video.
Anthony – Waiting for Claire to arrive at the church. Waiting at the front of the church with my brother, those 5 minutes felt so long. I just wanted to see her arrive.
Were you nervous?
No! The morning of the wedding was so calm. We have wanted to get married for so long and we were engaged for four years. In that time we decided to buy a house and then save for the wedding. So we were desperate to officially become man and wife.
Mahta and Shahab were married in a Persian ceremony at The Grand Hotel in Stockholm. And what a wedding! Every detail of their day had been planned to perfection with fabulous flowers and decor, wonderful food and an incredible party atmosphere. The Grand Hotel Stockholm with its elegant interiors and dramatic lighting was the perfect backdrop! And we were there as their Bröllopsfotograf Stockholm – that’s Swedish for wedding photographer – to capture all those details and special moments!

This was our fourth trip to Stockholm to film and photograph a Persian wedding. We have been quite a hit with the Persian community in Sweden and we always appreciate their kindness and hospitality.
One of the lovely things about destination weddings is that we often get to spend a bit more time with the couple and capture some more informal shots. We had a pre-wedding shoot in and around the centre of Stockholm with Mahta and Shahab and the images really are stunning! I adore their chic, chilled-out style!
On the day of their wedding (Bröllop in Swedish ; )) Mahta and David chose to honour the Swedish tradition of bride and groom meeting privately before the ceremony. It was a very emotional moment when they saw each other for the first time in all their finery. Mahta’s Maggie Sottero gown, with its pearl-encrusted bodice and flattering sweetheart neckline was simply enchanting and Shahab looked extremely suave in his slimline navy suit.
Anna and Ryan are such an adorable couple and we were delighted to be chosen as their Manchester wedding photographer and videographer! They wanted a very relaxed, candid style of wedding coverage and we were able to offer them a wraparound photography and videography service, with our team working unobtrusively to capture all the beauty, fun and emotion of their big day.
Childhood sweethearts since their schooldays, Anna and Ryan were always going to have a very special wedding day. Anna’s family were keen to mark the occasion with special touches, decorating the steps to the couple’s Didsbury apartment with a gorgeous display of flowers. Their ceremony at the beautiful St James’s church in Didsbury was a very moving celebration of their love and the twelve years they had already spent together.
Anna’s mum Jill contacted us a couple of months before the wedding day with a special request. She’d had the family videos from Anna’s childhood put onto DVD and wondered if we could edit a montage of clips of Anna along with photos of the family and Anna and Ryan, set to one of the couple’s favourite songs “Could you be the one?” by The Stereophonics. We were more than happy to offer this service, and the resulting video was a huge hit at the reception. It was a lovely trip down memory lane, and a few tears were shed to see this vibrant, funny little girl and the amazing woman she had become.
Manchester’s Great John Street Hotel was a fabulous reception venue and the perfect fit for this cool, urban couple. The space was ideal for a relaxed summer wedding, with an elegant interior and the rooftop lounge providing a wonderful outdoor space with a fantastic view of the city.
The speeches were lovely, genuine and heartfelt and the evening festivities were a blast with the guests keen to hit the dancefloor and party the night away. Anna and Ryan and their families were a joy to work with and we wish them every happiness! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Woods!
This was technically the second wedding for Kokil and Neil. A few months before their stunning wedding at the luxurious Combermere abbey in Cheshire, they held a traditional ceremony in India. Two very different worlds with two people in common.
We always love it when we get to shoot in a new venue and when we took a quick look at Combermere abbey we knew it would have incredible results. The ceremony was held in a big glass conservatory set in the middle of a labyrinth of fruit bushes. Despite the wedding being held in October we were all blessed with a bright sunny day which meant everyone could see the full beauty of the setting.
Kokil and Neil’s special day was packed full of surprises! The best man was able to find video footage of Neil’s self proclaimed wonder goal scored on the Stockport County football pitch. However the biggest surprise of the day was for Neil when Kokil took a scene from his favourite film, ‘Meet Joe Black’ and recreated it. In this scene there is an impressive firework display whilst Louis Armstrong’s ‘Wonderful World’ is playing in the background. Kokil had the staff tell everyone that there had been a small kitchen fire and they were to evacuate to the front lawn. As the last guest had left the room, the music kicked in and the first fireworks were lit in what was to be an immense display. I don’t think anyone had a dry eye by the end of the display!
We hope you enjoy the our job as Cheshire wedding photographer and the videography! Weddings like this one make us realize how lucky we are we to have the opportunity to be a part of so many big days!
