Nick and Sabrina were married at the fabulous Syon Park and we were proud to provide their wedding photography London.
We also made their wedding film! Here’s their gorgeous trailer:
Sabrina and Nick had not one but two heartfelt ceremonies. Sabrina was born in California and wanted to celebrate her Indian heritage with a traditional Hindu ceremony, whilst it was equally important to British born Nick to honour his Anglican faith. As the pair live in the US, they were keen to be married in a distinctively British setting and Syon Park with it’s elegant architecture and classical interiors was the perfect choice. Crucially, the venue was able to accommodate both the Hindu and the Anglican ceremonies in one day and the couple have nothing but praise for the Syon Park events team, who were incredibly helpful in planning their destination wedding.
This wedding photography London was an absolute joy for us to shoot.
Nick and Sabrina’s taste is impeccable and they were very relaxed in front of the camera, even posing for staged shots such as the groomsmen’s “Last Supper” pose and the bridesmaids “Desperate Housewives” shot, which you can see above. The elegant setting was extremely photogenic and we just love it when couples have a change of outfit!
Sabrina’s white Pronovias dress was effortlessly chic with its gorgeous lace bodice and cap sleeves and there is more than a little Hepburnesque charm to her bridal beauty shots. The contrast of the bridesmaids’ peacock blue lenghas was really striking and we loved how the gold embroidery of their outfits was echoed in the touches of gold in Syon Park’s interiors; almost as if they were made to go together!
Sabrina looked utterly stunning in the traditional red lengha she wore for the Hindu ceremony and her entrance as the groomsmen carried her in on a doli was a real wow moment. For Nick the moment of wonder came a few minutes later. In keeping with tradition, Sabrina’s brothers held a veil before his eyes so that he didn’t see his bride until the veil was lowered for the big reveal. Nick will never forget his first sight of Sabrina as the cloth fell away and he saw how beautiful she looked. Nick and his groomsmen were incredibly dapper for both ceremonies and it was lovely to see Nick looking completely at home in traditional Indian attire for the Hindu ceremony.
It’s hard to believe that this couple planned their wedding in only seven months, having met in a bar in New York’s hip Tribeca, where Sabrina was instantly charmed by Nick’s British accent and a whirlwind romance ensued. The depth of their feeling for each other was obvious throughout the day and the romantic shots we took are very sweet and natural. Sabrina and Nick initially chose Viva la Wedding because they loved our videos and were captivated by our storytelling style. We are so glad that they chose a photography and videography package with us so that we were able to provide their wedding photography London as well as their videography. Congratulations guys! It was an honour to be part of your day!
